rebuilding CBZ
Renovation, architectural and construction plans
were finally passed by the KW building Dept.

CBZ members, along with the supportive Key West
community join CBZ President Dr. Fred Covan,
Dr. Moore and Mayor Weekley for the
groundbreaking for our new Kitchen along
with the start of CBZ's major renovation.

It took weeks for special contractors
to clean all the hazardous material from
the Sanctuary and Social Hall.
Stripped Sanctuary
After months of having services at area churches
CBZ members resumed Saturday Morning Shabbat
Services in our Sanctuary.

A temporary Ark and Bimah was built
by members of CBZ
The Social Hall and Sanctuary had to be completely
stripped down to the concrete walls.Workers from the Jack Ralph Construction Co.
put the finishing touches to new sheetrock.
Sanctuary Walls rebuilt

The walls and ceilings are taking form,
Yahrzeits boards cleaned and remounted.

New front doors were installed new pews were
soon to arrive from a kibbutz in Israel.

A new Bimah, Torah Holders and chairs are
being crafted by local woodworkers.
